Ministry

Christian character building rooted in God’s Word

Hope for the hopeless. Structure for the surrendered. A firm foundation for a new life in Christ.

Ministry overview

We are a faith-based, Christian character-building ministry. The plan we use is Christ-centered and structured around this truth: Christ gives hope to a hopeless and broken life.

From starting our day with scripture memorization, to afternoon Bible studies and life skills classes, to nightly chapel with praise and worship—every man is given an opportunity to build a firm foundation rooted in God’s Word.

“But seek first the Kingdom of God and all these things shall be added unto you.”

Matthew 6:33

Our commitment is to provide a safe and controlled environment giving every man an opportunity at a new life. We are committed to serving and helping men who are truly ready to surrender and want to change their lives for the better. We want to be part of God’s work in restoring lives and family relationships.

Program essentials

What to expect

Who we serve

Men ages 18 and older who have come to the end of themselves—through drugs, alcohol, or other life hurts—and are ready to surrender to the Lord.

Length of stay

A mandatory minimum of six months. Real transformation takes time, study, and daily obedience.

What we are not

Oak Ridge is not a clinical drug/alcohol treatment or rehab program. We are a discipleship and Christian character-building ministry.

Support & cost

A private non-profit supported by donations and tithes. Men accepted into the program are asked to contribute $600 per month toward food, housing, utilities, and fuel. Family support and scholarships may be discussed case by case.

Core concepts

S.O.S. — Surrender · Obedience · Service

Biblical teaching at Oak Ridge focuses on three life-and-death relationships every man must come to terms with: his relationship with God, with himself, and with others.

This program is not about getting free from something—it is about finding freedom in a deep, personal relationship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  1. 01

    Surrender

“My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart O God, You will not despise.” — Psalm 51:17

  2. 02

“Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to Him.” — Psalm 128:1
